Poor work life balance

If working around the clock all day everyday is what you like to do than this job is for you. Great pay don’t get me wrong but they run like a plantation. 2 off days in a month 12 hour shifts.

Great pay for the work that you do

Management however is lacking leadership skills and team building ideology. The job itself is super easy and can keep the day going. Pay is pretty good for the labor that is performed. The Work / Life balance is terrible with the idea of being "On Call" for overtime and you can be forced at any given time (If refused you will be penalized). Too much favoritism in the work place and unless you are a "friend", your efforts are always overshadowed.

Great for young single people wanting to make good money.

Life to work balance was off. Purine would rather pay overtime then to have more people working and so they pay less benefits. Would work 12 hours a day 7 days a week frequently in the Flagstaff Az plant. Great pay but a sacrifice to families. Ok for single individuals looking to make money fast. Weekly pay period was also a perk.

Graveyard shift

No life balance. Paid is okay considering. U work 7 days a week. No days off until 72 hours then u get a day off the following week. RUN RUN RUN. This job is for someone who want to die at nestle basically.

Great benefits lackluster shifts

Amazing pay considering how easy the job is. Management left something to be desired, a lot of the times they didn't fully know how to do your job. None of the shifts were stellar because overtime was mandatory way more than what they disclosed.

Great pay

Great pay tip rate after a year. Lots of overtime. One down fall basically every other weekend off. Good vacation time. Good benefits. !!!!!!!!!

when starting your shift a quick few minute meeting, grab your order and get on lift and start loading, management are great. The hardest part is it can get very hot or cold/ work culture is good (lots of good people) and the best part is the high pay alone with a 30min break every 2 hours...

Be aware of overly friendly co-workets and HR hypocrisy

I will never forget how I was be-friended by a coworker who's real motivation was to not train me but to see to it I wasn't to save his overtime and the hypocrisy of the human resources department and orientation that set me up for failure as I was fooled into their safety first pitch when in fact despite the good pay the facility is old and poorly maintained.

5 stars.Best job in the industry in Denver.

Purina best company to work for.And this one I must say the pay is crazy 25 to start and after probation 30 a hr plus double time.Great environment to work in.Nice great people that help you!I will say it is really hard to get this job.Easy work I drive forklift around all day the most less stressful job easy job I have ever had.You get the job that’s great!If not keep applying it’s worth it!!Am telling you very easy work.

Its cool

GOOD... The PAY is AWESOME.. U will have financial stability.BAD.. No time to spend it. Time off u wont see much of that. So if u got kids and they in sports on the weekend. U can count that time gone. Cause once u qualify (after 90 days) U will not see ANY weekends off unless u call in or take off period. 💯

Great work environment and very competent management.

Working here was a great experience. The people were awesome and the management was very good at their job. The pay was extremely competitive and the benefits were incredible.

If u think you are a worker

Nestle purina is not a bad place to work at bc the job is easy it is a bad place bc of the management from the office all the way to the warehouse we basically have three sections of one building the warehouse is the section that the company forgets about and really don’t care about if u really think your about working then work here and it will change your mind about things in life yes u will make great money but you will also miss a lot of things that happen in life especially your first year basically it’s like how the dope game was u better get in and get out

Great pay, but you must have zero other life responsibilities

Im a forklift operator in the watehouse. Great pay with a ton of overtime if you like that. But beware you will be forced 60 to 70 hours a week. Some days you will be scheduled 8 hours. Only to find out you HAVE to stay an extra 4 shortly before you leave. The computer system on the fork truck is archaic and the same ways of doing things get different results for everyone. Performance is based on a utilization vs efficiency metric that you constantly have to balance to make numbers. Most drivers whip around like maniacs and there is no rhyme or reason to the layout of the warehouse. Also be advised that this company uses slip sheets. And the warehouse is 90 degrees in summer and 10 degrees in winter

Good pay check no life getting

If all you like is to work and not see your family. This is the place for you. Things they don't tell you. Like all the meetings that you are required to attend but are after or before your shift. So you have to come in early or stay late. Work 12 days in a row and get 2 days off. Then back to 12 days in a row. Work it's self is not hard but depending on where you work prepare to stink like meat every day.

It’s a fine place to work but the hours are what make the turn over rate so high, especially for new hires that will be on the weekend teams.

Pay is good, everything else, not so much.

Poor work/life balance. Management only cares about their own agenda; whatever gets cans out the door. Pay is good and it's the only thing that's keeps people working there.

Zero worklife balance

I worked there for about 3 years in hopes that it would get better but in only got worse. Prior to working there I researched the company and they stated that they valued family and safety. This was not my experience at all. The plant manager recently stated 60 to 66 hours a week is a good balance of work and home life. That is five 12 hour days and an additional 6 hour day so if you are an hourly employee you should plan to see your family very little. They claim to work with employees when personal issues arise which I also found to be false. The safety at the plant is non existent in that the safety department goes weeks and months without visiting the production floor. Clean water is hard to find and never refilled. Hand sanitizer and sanitation spray for covid prevention is not provided. Hard work is completely unnoticed . Maggots and flies are commonplace. The warehouse is extremely hot with minimal fans. Management is rarely seen and when problems occur they must be asked repeatedly to take action and still usually do nothing. My advice is only work here if you are extremely desperate because most employees are disgruntled and unhappy.

Fork lift operator

Been here for a year now. Not gonna lie you work a lot of hours and weekends but they staffing up. That said the pay is real good for what I’m doing. Make double what I did at my last job. It can be tough at times but people are really friendly and look out for each other. Team leaders were all former operators for most part so they know the job well and can help you. Management okay. Money, benefits and people make it worth the long hours.

Great fellow slip sheet operators on all three shifts

I was a second shift slip sheet operator in the warehouse. My co-workers were GREAT on my shift. They were all helpful to me when I needed help. Management was non existent in helping train me, when I reached out to them. Nestle Purina thinks a 72 hour work week, 12 days on 2 days off, 4 days off a month to be a normal acceptable work schedule. TERRIBLE!! If you are single, with no kids, no life Nestle Purina is the place for you. The pay is great only because you are forced overtime aka 72 hour work weeks! I value my time, as well as my health and happiness. Nestle Purina values none of those.
