Terrible place to work.... there is truly NO guidance or sense of responsibility from management.... terrible management

Would absolutely NEVER encourage or suggest someone take employment from Niagara. Absolutely do not care about employees nor what's going on in said employees life. Terrible work environment..... unsafe

Pros

No pros to this job

Contras

Not given breaks when supposed to.

Nice place to work!

Have enjoyed working here and the opportunities presented. Great place to work. The hours are long but the schedule is fantastic. We work a 2-2-3 schedule so I am able to get things done on my days off which I used to have to take vacation for. The pay is good but the 401K could be better.

Meh. Good intro into a production job i guess

Work life balance seems ok until you realize that they run permanently understaffed. If you work hard theyll run you into the dirt. They do a fun little thing to keep people from reporting accidents by raffling off a car every year if your plants maintains a certain safety raiting. Sounds neat until you watch 20 people not report an injury because they dont want to be "the person that lost the car"

Pros

There aren't many pros but they are very few

Would stay away from some locations

I use to work here I tried 2 different locations out for the company thinking maybe the 2nd location would have better management and be ran different. From what i experienced they don’t promote with in unless your all buddy buddy with the managers then they might bump you up. They have people on the low end of the totem pole train the new hires or people who get put into your area by transfer in the company when there should be trainers training people that’s what they get paid for. It makes you feel back in school with how people have there own clicks and how peopleGossip about others and people that don’t want to work you will see a lot of. You will also notice they point you for everything even if you take a sick day and a doctor says this day covers you from what ever date to this date they point you per day instead of pointing you for one day and letting the doctors note hold the others. Again like I said earlier maybe other locations are better then others and if they are then that’s good the benefits of the company are nice tho overall just wish the job would of been better

Pros

Free lunches at random times of the year and free water water in the break room

Contras

Pointed for just about everything and your stuck on Night Shift

Completely opposite from the job description.

This company likes to present itself as a family company, but is far from it. I truly can tell you so many better manufacturing/production companies that are more worthwhile. The benefits are terrible and you have no PTO (only vacation that has to be requested 7 days in advance). Management does whatever they please, they very rarely care for their workers. The company alone simply cares about money only. Constant overtime even when very short staffed on all shifts. Easy work that gets boring quick and they do nothing to help you learn more and grow.

Pros

Decent starting pay depending on area.

Contras

Advancement is harder than they claim, no PTO (you have vacation only that has to be put in 7 days in advance), easy work that gets boring very quick

You work a 2-2-3 schedule

Ok to work for, their 401k could be a better because they only match .33 cents on the dollar you put in. You can advance fast at this company if you put in hard work and willing to move.

Pros

Lots of free food

Contras

2-2-3 schedule

First let me say that I am very excited to work with professional and hardworking team.

HR along with the talent recruiter kept me abreast in the process. That made me feel important and welcomed. While meeting with management the interview was very interesting and comfortable. I qualified and applied for several positions, we decided to continue my profession in Quality while working towards the Food science degree.

Pros

Professional environment, Hardworking attitude, The sense of support

Contras

None as of yet!

Good company, clean working conditions, and good people to work with

I really like my coworkers. The work areas are clean. Based on my previous jobs this is not the perfect place to work, but is much better than where I have worked in the past. Members of management were out to get each other when I first started working here. Management has changed since and is better than before. New management raised the pay to get and keep people. The hardest part of the job is slicing bottles. It is a constant, routine task that is not fun. Other than slicing bottles this is a good company to work for. The company is always building new plants so there is some job security.

Pros

Free water, $25 market card for vending, great coworkers, and a clean and safe work area.

Contras

During the summer months you have to work holidays, Masks are required for everyone even if you are vaccinnated, Training for operators is better on some shifts than others

Worst place to work

Just like Amazon they don't care about you and your expandable and replaceable and they let you know it ! They will have you training people who make 3$ more then you and are only 18 years old

Pros

Good start out pay

Contras

Everything

Training

Good resource for training purposes.Well guided thru the process. They consider your opinions and make you feelpart of the team even if you a new hire.

Pros

Family enviroment
¿Te ha sido de ayuda esta evaluación?

Terrible company

No room for advancement, no a/c in work area, long hours, they will hire people off the street and they will be your boss the next day, HR manager and supervisors are horrible, get paid bi-monthly, benefits suck, you won’t have a life to live outside of work, and the only way to move up is by favorites. Don’t waste your time here, you can find something better. They only pay well for the working conditions that’s why they can’t keep anybody there. Don’t bother asking HR manager for help, practically useless.

Pros

Pay, coworkers

Contras

Management, working conditions, schedule
¿Te ha sido de ayuda esta evaluación?

Easy, friendly, affirmative, but laid back

Easy place to work, if you pay attention and just work easiest job of your life, the whole staff is friendly m, very good people, gets busy in the summer though

Pros

Sometimes, and $25 kiosk card every week
¿Te ha sido de ayuda esta evaluación?

The pay is great

The culture is so toxic more like middle school mentality , ridiculous how people take 2 hour breaks , too many cliques , not a fair environment and people stay in your business

Pros

They feed us a lot

Contras

Long hours, a lot of lazy people
¿Te ha sido de ayuda esta evaluación?

Great management team. 12 hour shifts are a killer.

Niagara has the best management team that I ever experienced. When they say their managers have an open door policy, they really mean it. They have a culture that supports teamwork and cooperation and are always supportive of learning and training.

Pros

They always gave us free lunches.

Contras

Very long 12 hour shifts.
¿Te ha sido de ayuda esta evaluación?

highest stress level ever

Most nepotism ever seen anywhere, if you aren't on the list you are screwed over constantly. Lazy favorites can do no wrong while hard workers keep getting more piled on

Pros

none

Contras

Insurance is a joke

Hard place to work long term

Niagara is a good company, but the Brigham City Location management is not. Management is always fighting between each other. Managers are unprofessional and degrading. There is favoritism really bad. Best way to move up is to move to another state and plant. Toxic environment, not a positive place to work. Opportunities only come if manager likes you.

Pros

Learn alot, able to work on alot of different machines. Good pay, Holidays off.

Contras

Health Insurance expensive, bad management across the board. Toxic negative co workers, alot of false promises.

Great company, not all supervisor's are friendly.

This job is a very good paying job. They want you to hurry up and learn everything, you get 3 months to find out if you stay which is nerve wrecking. When they give you someone to train you make sure you let the supervisor know if you feel like the person training you is not doing a good job or rude to you.

Pros

Pay

Contras

Some rude people that work here
