Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Assistant to join our team performing back office insurance claims processing. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing and processing insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures. Your attention to detail will be essential.

Knowledge of first party property claims terminology and documentation is a big plus for the role.


- Setup and create the clients and claims in the company CRM

- Be the company liaison with the insurance company

- Update clients regularly on claim status

- Review and process insurance claims, by generating and sending all required documentation

- Ensure timely submission of documentation to insurance companies

- Follow up on outstanding items

- Maintain organized and accurate claim files and save all documentation to the shared drive


- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative

- Fluent in speaking and writing English. You will be tested on your writing skills.

- Working internet, computer / laptop

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills (but not required):

- Proven experience as a Claims Specialist or similar role preferred but not required

- Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, and documentation a plus but not required

- Familiarity with insurance regulations and laws a plus but not required

- Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and claim management

- Proficiency in Excel a nice to have but not required

- Previous administrative work experience a big plus but not required

Part Time or Full Time

This can either be a part time (half day) or fulltime position

If half day is selected then a minimum of 12 to 20 hours per week is required.

At 20 hours per week we would pay about 7200 BS per month. This is an estimate and may change based on the currency conversion

The full time option is 40 hours per week and pays 14400 BS
